Laboratory Manager

Mō Tēnei Tūranga Mahi | About the Role

You’ll lead our Laboratory team, overseeing testing, crop estimation, and orchard mapping to support our technical and operational goals. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll manage people, processes, and performance to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality outcomes.

Your mahi will include:

  • Leading lab testing for dry matter, pressure, colour, brix, and more
  • Managing crop estimation and orchard mapping
  • Supervising and coaching lab staff and orchard samplers
  • Ensuring lab setup, calibration, and data systems are maintained
  • Driving continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives
  • Liaising with Grower Services, Harvest, and Logistics teams
