At Trevelyan's, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for a warm, organised Reception Administrator to be the face of our business — the first person every visitor meets and the first voice every caller hears.

Mō Tēnei Tūranga Mahi | About the Role

You'll run our front office at Te Puke — welcoming visitors, managing the main phone line and reception inbox, coordinating meeting rooms, and supporting site tours and events. You'll administrative support to our team, and pitch in across the wider business when things get busy.

No two days look the same. One morning you might be inducting a group of international visitors for a site tour; the next, juggling courier deliveries, a full meeting room schedule, and a grower who has popped in with a question.

Your mahi will include:

  • Welcoming visitors, signing them in and completing site inductions
  • Answering and directing calls, taking detailed messages
  • Coordinating meeting room bookings, set-up and tidy-down
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail and couriers
  • Supporting the successful set-up and delivery of site tours and events
  • Administrative support
  • Coordinate office supplies using our KANBAN system
  • Keeping the reception area tidy, presentable and ready for visitors

You're a genuine people person - calm, organised, and quick on your feet. You take pride in running a tidy front office and reading what each visitor needs.

You'll bring:

  • Previous reception and administration experience
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • A warm, professional manner in person, on the phone and in writing
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • The ability to juggle competing priorities while staying available to walk-in visitors
  • Sound judgement and the confidence to use your initiative
  • A commitment to Health & Safety and sustainability
